When Annie’s husband John dies of leukemia, she and best friend Chris resolve to raise money for a new settee in the local hospital waiting room. They manage to persuade four friends to pose nude with them for an “alternative” calendar, with a little help from hospital porter and amateur photographer Lawrence.

The news of the women’s charitable venture spreads like wildfire, and hordes of press soon descend on the small village of Knapeley in the Yorkshire Dales. The calendar is a success, but Chris and Annie’s friendship is put to the test under the strain of their newfound fame.

Based on the true story of eleven women who posed nude for a calendar to raise money for the Leukemia Research Fund, “Calendar Girls” opened at the Chichester Festival Theatre and has since become the fastest-selling play in British theater history.

To reserve tickets by phone, call (508) 347-9005

NOTE: Reservations are highly recommended as performances often sell out before the performance date. Reservations can be made online, by phone or in person at the theater box office. A credit card (Visa or MasterCard) is required to reserve your seats. Your credit card will not be charged (unless you request it) and you may pay cash or charge the tickets upon your arrival at the theater. We reserve the right to charge your credit card for unclaimed tickets. We also reserve the right to sell your unclaimed tickets to waiting patrons.

Please note, we must speak with you by phone to confirm your reservation. Leaving a voice mail does not confirm your reservation. We will call you back to confirm your ticket request.

Ticket Cancellations

Please be aware that Stageloft Repertory Theater must be informed of a cancellation of any tickets 48 hours before the show to guarantee that tickets will not be charged to your account. We will make every effort to sell your released seats to other patrons, but if we are unable to do so, we reserve the right to charge your account. We keep a “wait list” of patrons who call for tickets but cannot be accommodated because of a sellout, but we cannot guarantee that a party on the wait list can be contacted and will still want to buy your released tickets. Thank you for your understanding.
