SRT is pleased to announce its full 2016 season! Full details on the productions and individual show pages will be coming soon, as the website undergoes the transition to a new design and administrator.
Read moreFounded by Ed and Ellen Cornely in the summer of 1994, SRT opened for business by presenting "The Foreigner" in an occasionally bat-filled barn behind the Sturbridge Country Inn. It debuted in its present Main Street location in December 1997, with "Christmas Memories" on the playbill. With Artistic Director C. Taylor (pictured) and husband Scott now at the Stageloft helm, the theater is being modernized while maintaining the customer focus that has always epitomized the SRT experience.
With upholstered, fold-down theater chairs throughout our air-conditioned, 130-seat "loft," you're guaranteed to be comfortably close to the action. Our lobby includes sitting areas for early arrivals.
In addition to being fully handicapped accessible, we work diligently to accommodate all patrons with sight, hearing, claustrophobia or mobility issues. We also feature a pair of extra-wide seats.
Being in tourism-centered Sturbridge, we count bus and tour groups among our most loyal visitors. Call us at (508) 347-9005, and we'll happily arrange a day at the theater for your small or large gathering.
With our new online ticket-buying option through the TicketStage service, you can bypass the lobby lines when arriving for a show. Phone orders are also accepted; we'll contact you promptly to handle your ticket request.
